Do you want to work strategically and operationally with a broad spectrum of health-promoting and cultural activities for employees within Region Stockholm? About Us
The Sports and Wellness Association of Region Stockholm (RSIF) is a non-profit collaborative body that enables all employees of Region Stockholm (currently approx. 48,000 colleagues!) to participate in health-promoting activities during their leisure time.
The Sports and Wellness Federation of Region Stockholm has the task of supporting and stimulating recreational, competitive, health-promoting, and cultural activities. The operations are conducted both by the federation and through affiliated sections in the form of, for example, trial activities, courses, outdoor activities, education/inspiration, as well as competitive and recreational sports.
Structurally, the RSIF secretariat belongs to the Regional Executive Office and is part of the RLK HR unit within the Strategic HR department.

About the Role
As an Activity Coordinator, you belong to the RSIF secretariat, which currently consists of two employees. You have a central and broad role in the organization where you work both strategically and practically to develop activities at the organizational, association, and member levels. You support and develop the association and its sections in their work and are responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing activities and events – from idea and planning to execution and follow-up. The role also involves coordinating collaborations between affiliated sections, contacting suppliers, negotiating prices, and handling subsidies for activities. You drive and develop small and large initiatives – from a single lecture to the annual Health Challenge or regional championships. An important part of the assignment is to market and communicate the activities by creating invitations and publishing information via the website, producing newsletters, and other communication materials. You contribute to maintaining and developing the organization's website both technically, editorially, and visually, while also establishing and strengthening collaborations with other activities within and outside Region Stockholm with similar assignments.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are independent, proactive, and solution-oriented, with the ability to take responsibility and drive work forward on your own. You are a confident and clear communicator who enjoys building and nurturing relationships, while being structured and accustomed to driving processes from start to finish. You have a flexible and development-oriented approach, see the big picture of the operations, and are comfortable in a role where you combine several functions, such as process leader, communicator, and web editor.
To succeed in the role, you have:
- Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience that, combined with other training, meets the educational requirements
- Several years of recent experience in project managing/coordinating events, preferably in sports and/or association contexts
- Experience in driving parallel assignment flows with sometimes tight deadlines
- Good IT skills and experience with the Office package
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
Meritorious:
- Experience with web publishing in WordPress and WooCommerce
- Experience with image and video editing.
Our Offer
We offer you a unique opportunity to become, at the very least, a key person in health-promoting work aimed at reaching all 48,000 employees in the region. Åsa has worked with these issues for many years and is happy to share the most important experiences, lessons learned, and know-how.
This is a permanent position with a start date in October 2026.
